Vine tomatoes and crispy sourdough drizzled with our Mediterranean Olive Oil and finished with our Garlic & Herb Sea Salt. Enjoy bruschetta for lunch or as a starter to a meal. Great for impressing on date night.
This Bruschetta recipe uses the Great Northern Spice Mediterranean Herbs Olive Oil and the Garlic & Herb Sea Salt.
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon, a large pour of Mediterranean Herbs Olive Oil
1 pinch of Garlic & Herb Sea Salt
4 large vine tomatoes - keep at room temperature for the best flavour!
2 large slices of sourdough bread
Fresh basil leaves
HOW TO PREPARE BRUSCHETTA - 3 Easy Steps
Roughly chop the vine tomatoes and place them in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of Mediterranean Herbs Olive Oil and gently mix. Set aside so the flavours mingle.
Toast the sourdough slices until golden and crisp on the outside but still slightly soft inside. While the toast is still warm, drizzle generously with Mediterranean Herbs Olive Oil first. Spoon the tomato mixture on top, then drizzle with a little more olive oil for extra richness.
Sprinkle with a pinch of Garlic & Herb Sea Salt, tear over fresh basil leaves, and serve immediately.

Always keep your tomatoes at room temperature – it makes a huge difference to their sweetness and overall flavour.
