Korean Beef Noodles Recipe
Veggie or vegan options include bok choy, mushrooms, bean sprouts and courgette.
You Will Need...
Ingredients
1 tablespoon of Great Northern Spice Korean BBQ Seasoning
300g thin beef steaks, cut in to strips or your veggie/vegan choice
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
3 tablepoons of light soy sauce
2 teaspoons of dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon of rice wine vinegar or mirin
1 teaspoon of chopped garlic or garlic puree
1 teaspoon of chopped ginger or ginger puree
1 red bell pepper, cut in to small strips
Noodles (we use packet Udon Noodles which take 2 minutes in the microwave)
Chopped spring onion for garnish
How to Cook
In a large frying pan or wok on a medium to high heat, add the sesame oil and start to fry the garlic and ginger - 2-3 minutes. Stir each minute to prevent burning.
Add the beef or your veggie options, light soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and bell pepper. Stir frequently for 8-10 minutes. Reduce the heat slightly if need be.
In the meantime, cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and add to the pan. Add the dark soy sauce and stir frequently for a further 3 minutes.
Now you are ready to serve and garnish with spring onion.
