Ingredients

How to cook - 4 quick steps

  1. Boil the cobs in water for 7 minutes and drain, set aside to cool slightly.

  2. While the cobs are boiling, turn on the grill to heat up, or fire up your BBQ.

  3. Cut the corn cobs with a large knife into quarters. To do this stand the cob upright, cut down the core and then lay core down onto the board to cut into half lengthways again.

  4. Lay on a baking tray and spray or rub with olive oil and scatter over the Southern Fried Seasoning.

  5. Grill until the corn starts to char - the amount of char is down personal preference - moving the ribs around periodically if they are blackening unevenly due to hot spots.

  6. Or add your corn ribs to a BBQ tray and BBQ until charred.

  7. Enjoy!
